The Team consisted of Julia Acker, Julia Seixas, Dylan Mashini, Ari Low, Austin Bruner, Sharvil Kulkarni and Ichiro Okochi.

The Team began the competition in 15th place and finished in 5th place out of 19 teams, high enough to be selected as one of the Team Captains that were allowed to choose an Alliance Partner from all of the teams to compete in the final round.

The Pope Robot, nicknamed “Loose Change”, did very well in the VEX Spin Up game which consisted of picking up round frisbee like objects that were then placed in a designated area or were shot into baskets located about two feet above the competition floor. This is the first competition that the Team has competed in since the Covid-19 shutdowns and the next VEX Spin Up competition is scheduled for December 17th at South Forsyth High School.
